The OP-1 Underwater Sample Pack is built around a single idea: sound as heard through water. Heavy filtering, long reverb tails and slow modulation combine to create a submerged, weightless character, drawing on the traditions of ambient and cinematic sound design where texture matters more than melody.
The pack contains 33 samples covering filtered pads, resonant sweeps, sonar-like pulses, bubbling effects and deep sub basses, alongside 3 drum kits of muted, watery percussion. It suits ambient, cinematic and downtempo work, and rewards heavy use of the OP-1’s own effects and envelopes, where these sounds open up into evolving, atmospheric beds.
