The OP-1 Stage-73 Sample Pack captures the most recorded electric piano ever made. First produced in the 1970s, the stage electric piano generates its sound with hammers striking metal tines, picked up electromagnetically, giving a bell-like attack over a warm, woody body. It became the defining keyboard of soul, jazz fusion, funk and countless ballads, and remains a staple of modern hip hop and lo-fi production.
This pack contains 33 samples spanning the instrument’s full range of voices: soft and mellow tones for ballads, bright bell-like settings that cut through a mix, tremolo-driven movement, and harder amped and overdriven variations. Each sample sustains beautifully within the OP-1’s sample length, making this an ideal foundation for chords, basslines and lead melodies alike.
