B-3
£5.00
This pack is created for both the OP-1 and OP-1 Field.
The OP-1 B-3 Sample Pack captures the tonewheel organ, the sound at the heart of gospel, jazz, soul and rock. Introduced in the 1950s, the B-3 generates its tone with spinning metal tonewheels, shaped by drawbars and usually played through a rotary speaker cabinet that gives it its swirl and growl. It became the voice of the jazz organ trio and the gospel church, and went on to drive 60s soul and the overdriven organ sound of 70s rock.
This pack contains 33 samples spanning the instrument’s full range of voices: clean jazz registrations, percussive settings, church and cathedral tones, rotary speaker movement, chorus, and harder overdriven leads. Every sample is in stereo and sustains across the OP-1’s sample length, making this an ideal foundation for chords, comping and lead lines alike.
