The Mellotron is one of the most iconic instruments in music history — an electro-mechanical sampler invented in 1963 that gave The Beatles, The Moody Blues, King Crimson and Genesis their signature orchestral sound. Using magnetic tape to play back recordings of strings, flutes, choirs and brass, it was one of the first samplers ever built.
This pack contains 33x Mellotron samples, pre-formatted for use with the OP-1 and OP-1 Field. Mono samples for the OP-1, stereo for the OP-1 Field.
