Description
The ARP Solina came before modern polysynths and does one thing extraordinarily well: strings. Rather than emulating an orchestra it produces something shimmering and synthetic that has become a sound in its own right. Stevie Wonder recorded with one; so did Gorillaz.
33 sounds pre-formatted for the OP-1 and OP-1 Field, covering the Solina’s string and brass registers — ensemble pads, solo lines, and the chorused sweep that defines the instrument.
