Description
The Farfisa Compact was the sound of 1960s garage rock and Italian pop — a transistor organ with a thin, reedy character that cuts through a mix in a way a Hammond never does. It is the organ on countless psych and beat records, and it has aged into something warmer than it was ever designed to be.
This pack captures that character across 33 sounds, pre-formatted for the OP-1 and OP-1 Field. Expect bright sustained chords, percussive stabs and the slightly unstable tuning that gives the instrument its charm — particularly useful for lo-fi and jazz recordings where a cleaner organ would sound sterile.
