The Juno-6 is an analog synthesizer manufactured by Roland in 1982. It was designed as a low-cost alternative to synths like the Sequential Circuits Prophet-5 and Roland’s own Jupiter-8, but it quickly became a legend in its own right. The Juno-6 featured one oscillator per voice with two selectable waveforms, a powerful filter section with a non-resonant high pass and resonant low pass filter, and a unique digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) that kept the tuning stable and reliable. The Juno-6 also had a built-in chorus effect that added depth and dimension to its sound, making it ideal for pads, strings, brass, and more. The Juno-6 was used by artists like Eurythmics, Howard Jones, Enya, and The Cure.

The Mellotron is one of the most iconic instruments in music history — an electro-mechanical sampler invented in 1963 that gave The Beatles, The Moody Blues, King Crimson and Genesis their signature orchestral sound. Using magnetic tape to play back recordings of strings, flutes, choirs and brass, it was one of the first samplers ever built.

The Minimoog is an analog synth, sold between 1970 and 1981, made famous with it's use in prog rock and jazz bands. The Minimoog has been described as the first synthesizer to become a "classic". It continued to be used through the late 80s by icons like Herbie Hancock and Kraftwerk.

The Oberheim OB-Xa is a massive analog synth, notably similar to the Prophet-5, and the first to contain Oberheims iconic blue stripes. This synth became famous for the Van Halen song "Jump", and was used by artists across the last 40 years, including Queen and New Order. Recreate these iconic artists with the OB-Xa pack, made for the OP-1.

The Prophet-5 is an analog synthesizer manufactured by Sequential Circuits in San Jose, California between 1978 and 1984. It was designed by Dave Smith and John Bowen, who used microprocessors, then a new technology, to create the first polyphonic synthesizer with fully programmable memory. This allowed users to store and recall sounds instantly, rather than having to reprogram them manually. The Prophet-5 also featured two VCOs per voice, a 4-pole resonant low-pass filter, two ADSR envelopes, and a unique Poly-Mod section that allowed modulation of various parameters using the filter envelope and oscillator B. The Prophet-5 was a milestone and a musical legend, influencing countless genres and styles with its warm, rich and versatile sound.

The OP-1 Soul Sample Pack gathers the sounds that built soul music: warm electric pianos, drawbar organ, plucked clavinet, brass sections and deep, rounded bass. Soul grew out of gospel and rhythm and blues in the late 1950s and 60s, carrying the emotion and phrasing of church music into popular song, and its instrumental palette has stayed a reference point for hip hop, neo-soul and lo-fi production ever since.

The OP-1 Stage-73 Sample Pack captures the most recorded electric piano ever made. First produced in the 1970s, the stage electric piano generates its sound with hammers striking metal tines, picked up electromagnetically, giving a bell-like attack over a warm, woody body.
